I'm a Slow Quilter

I think I must be a slow quilter or I get bored easily or my eyes can't take the strain or.....anyways those are my excuses for still working on the zigzag quilt. I try to work on it each night for half an hour to an hour when I get home from work.

Here's another hint for our 100th blog post giveaway! Keep your eyes peeled.

When I took a break yesterday I decided to make something I have wanted to make since seeing this post. I made myself a sewing machine!

Well not a real one and not the same as the one in the tutorial. I didn't have the pieces she used and I wasn't going to buy a kit for one piece so I improvised. Mine turned out more like a vintage machine with a fly wheel.

Honestly that is the pattern on my counter top not dust!

I went to google images to find other Lego sewing machines and this is my favourite. Check out the spool of thread.
Have you tried to make your own sewing machine? I'm connecting to WIP Wednesday at Freshly Pieced.
